Special Events
Throughout the academic year, BLC members participate in panels and mentoring sessions with Wellesley undergraduates and recent alumnae. | Wellesley in Business Symposium and BEAM Initiative: Collaboration between Wellesley College and the BLCThe Symposium is the annual signature event for the new Business, Entrepreneurship, and Money Management (BEAM) Initiative. The BEAM Initiative grew from a close collaboration between BLC co-founder Lois Juliber ('71) and the Lulu Chow Wang ’66 Center for Career Education team. The goal of the initiative is to support current and future business leaders and entrepreneurs, and to ensure all Wellesley students are empowered to pursue future career pathways as financially savvy graduates. BLC members, led by Elyse Cherry ’75, have been working closely with Career Education to develop this exciting new event, supporting a core pillar of our BLC vision. SCOTUS Insights with Barbara Creed ‘66 "Navigating the Path to a Corporate Board Seat" coordinated by Katrina McCallum ‘89 We also schedule an annual in-person BLC Breakfast for members attending Wellesley College Reunion each year, plus online summer and New Year’s socials.
